Copyright Ownership:
- Photographer's Copyright: Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, Shattered Reflections Studio retains the copyright ownership of all photographs taken during sessions. This includes both digital and printed formats.
- Usage Rights: Clients receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use the photographs for personal purposes, such as printing, sharing on social media, and displaying in personal albums. This license does not permit commercial use, distribution, or alteration of the photographs without express permission from Shattered Reflections Studio.
Client Responsibilities:
- Respect for Copyright: Clients agree to respect the photographer's copyright and not reproduce, distribute, or sell the photographs without permission.
- Attribution: When sharing photographs on social media or other platforms, clients agree to credit Shattered Reflections Studio as the photographer (e.g., "Photography by Shattered Reflections Studio").
- Modifications: Clients agree not to modify or alter photographs in any way without prior consent from Shattered Reflections Studio
Commercial Use:
- Commercial Licensing: For clients interested in using photographs for commercial purposes (e.g., advertising, promotional materials), a separate commercial license agreement must be negotiated with Shattered Reflections Studio
Protection of Copyright:
- Copyright Notice: All photographs provided by Shattered Reflections Studio will include a copyright notice (© Shattered Reflections Studio) to inform viewers of our copyright ownership.
- Digital Rights Management: Shattered Reflections Studio may use digital rights management (DRM) techniques or watermarks to protect photographs from unauthorized use.
Enforcement:
